The Man with Empty Hands

Do you accept yourself fully?

Self acceptance can profoundly affect your experience of life. If you fully accept yourself, anything is possible. If you judge and criticise yourself, everything you do will be affected.

This story journey also addresses a deeper level of self-acceptance. Do you see yourself in all your radiant fullness, as a divine being having a human experience? Seeing yourself this way can have a profound impact on your life.

Acceptance of the self

Who are you, really?

Most of us have adopted the self-image we received as a child, and from the culture we live in. This self-image defines who we are.

But who we really are is something vast, beyond what we can imagine. Fitting all of that into the very small self-definitions we have adopted is an act of immense self-limitation.

You are much larger than the person you have been told you are, and that you believe you are. You are vast, and your essential qualities are beautiful beyond description.

How on Earth do you remember all that?

How this story journey can serve you

This story journey will help you assess your current level of self acceptance. Do you accept yourself fully? If not, how could this change?

Next, it will draw you into an expansive dreaming of your full potential, through immersion in The Man with Empty Hands, a cathartic and magical story told by Leo Sofer with music from Sundara Sofer. Who could you really be? What potential might show up if you just allowed your true being to live and act in the world? What does it take to allow that to happen?

We all want to be true to ourselves. But how can we do that when the self that we believe ourselves to be is radically limited by our inherited, cultural beliefs? This story will guide you towards a more expansive identity, closer to the truth of who you really are. Living and acting from there, anything is possible.
